Hi, I'm Hannah, an 18 year old hobby baker who retreats to baking to relieve the stress of student life. Seeing people's reactions when receiving my bakes is why I am so passionate about the hobby and the satisfaction after accomplishing a new technique adds to this. My baking journey started about 5 years ago, when I discovered that the kitchen can be somewhere I go to forget about all my worries and put all my energy into baking instead.  Cakes, Cookies and Tray Bakes are my favourites to create, but I'm determined to challenge myself with recipes and techniques I've never tried before.

     Here's MY Recipe:

  1. Start with a cup of chaos: No bake of mine is perfect... I like to call it an 'Organised Mess'.

  2. Pour a teaspoon of spontaneity: Some of my best bakes haven't had any planning at all.

  3. Sprinkle with luck: Improvisation is KEY, so I'm always lucky when a bake with missing components and ingredients actually works out well.

  4. Add a dash of patience: This is necessary, especially when trying new methods or techniques that require multiple attempts to get right. 

  5. Mix this all together and you get a young student who is surviving uni, as well as whipping up a variety of bakes for her friends and family to enjoy.

This blog is here to not only  share what I love doing, but to also show you my  weekly experiences with some tips and tricks to help you on the way. I hope you enjoy reading about my baking mishaps, adventures and potential catastrophes...
