Biscoff Doughnuts...

So, this week’s blog is a recipe for Biscoff doughnuts. I keep saying that this will be my last bake using Biscoff but I just can’t stop it goes so well when baking. It was a busy weekend last week hence why the blog is a little late as I was making an engagement cake, I’ll add a photo at the bottom of this blog. I made these doughnuts as an experiment hoping they would work along with some Nutella meringues which will be up in a couple of weeks. I’m spending so much time baking recently it’s nice to have break and relax, but I’ll try and stick to uploading blogs on Friday’s. I’ll keep the recipe short and sweet but they turned out so well.

Ingredients:

· 240g plain flour

· 60g melted unsalted butter

· 140g granulated sugar

· 2tbsp Biscoff

· 200ml milk

· 1 tsp baking powder

· 70g melted Biscoff

· Crushed Lotus biscuits

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. In a bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Gradually add the milk and melted butter until smooth and then stir in the Biscoff. Grease the doughnut tin using melted butter so they don’t stick. This recipe should make 12 doughnuts. Fill each of the holes until ¾ full and bake for 8-10minutes until they are golden in colour. Once they are cooked take them out of the tin and let them cool. Once cool melt some Biscoff and dip in the doughnuts add some crushed biscuits and enjoy. They had a lovely shine on them and I took a lot of photos, especially using my new spoon which I think is amazing.

This recipe was so simple and makes a quick treat if you don’t have a lot of time. Very excitingly I now have a massive baking cupboard which meant I had to have a tidy and organise all my stuff. I didn’t realise I had as much but it was so satisfying organising my baking cupboard and it’s also helping me stay organised because for a change I actually know where everything is. I’ve got such a busy week with cakes but I can’t wait to share all the photos, fingers crossed they turn out alright. I hope you enjoy the Biscoff recipe and keep an eye out for the Nutella meringue recipe coming soon. Have a lovely week!

Lots of love,

Hannah xx
