Cookie Monster Fudge...

So, this week’s blog is super simple and a fun blog to have a go at, Cookie Monster fudge. I didn’t get the chance to blog last weekend because I was so busy making Father’s Day cupcakes, it meant making over 100 cupcakes and even a box of llama cupcakes thrown in for good measure. I’ll put some photos from last weekend at the end of this blog. I loved being so busy and it motivated me to get organised and plan everything, I think it was a huge success and then Newcastle winning after was a big positive. Coming back to this week’s blog though, I made Biscoff fudge a couple weeks ago and it was amazing, I had a lot of cookies that needed to be used so made some Cookie Monster Fudge. After such a busy weekend last week it’s been nice to have a break and tick bakes off my list I’ve wanted to try for a long time.

Ingredients:

· 1 tin of condensed milk

· 300g white chocolate

· 50g icing sugar

· Vanilla extract

· Blue colouring

· Edible eyes

· Cookies

· Mini Oreos

Start by melting the white chocolate in intervals until it is melted. Add the blue food colouring to the chocolate until you have the desired blue colour. Over a pan with boiling water, heat the condensed milk and add the white chocolate. This should start to thicken and doesn’t take long at all. Add a dash of vanilla flavouring and sift in the icing sugar. I crushed a handful of cookies and Oreos. I took the mix off the heat and stirred through the biscuits. You can add as many as you want. In a lined tin, add the blue fudge mix. Then you can randomly add the eyes, larger cookie pieces and Oreos all over the top. When I was doing it I didn’t think about cutting it, hence why some of the slices are an odd shape so I didn’t separate the eyes. Once you are happy with the arrangement place in the fridge for at least four hours. Cut into pieces and enjoy.

This recipe is so fun and simple. It really brightened my day, it was so refreshing to make something other than cupcakes. I wouldn’t change any of my organised chaos from this weekend and I will certainly be rustling some more fudge up this weekend. Once you make a batch you just can’t help going to grab a square from the fridge. I would certainly recommend this recipe and I’ve got some exciting cake orders in the coming weeks. I’m also so close to 5000 followers on Instagram, which I would love to get by my birthday in July, fingers crossed. Enjoy some photos from last weekends cupcakes. Have a lovely week and enjoy the fudge recipe.

Lots of love,

Hannah xx
