Gingerbread Fudge...

So, this week’s blog is a recipe on how to make Gingerbread fudge. I had no idea whether this was a flavour that was going to work so I just got all the ingredients and hoped for the best. This fudge worked out so well and would make the perfect Christmas treat. This recipe is so simple anyone can make it. I really hope you enjoy this recipe.

Ingredients:

-1 tin of condensed milk

-350g white chocolate

-Mini gingerbread men

-1tsp Ginger

-1tsp Cinnamon

-50g icing sugar

-sprinkles optional

Start by lining a square tine with baking paper. Break the white chocolate and heat in intervals in the microwave until melted. Heat the condensed milk over boiling water. Gradually add the melted chocolate and stir. Add the ginger and cinnamon along with the icing sugar. This should make the consistency thicker. Crush some gingerbread biscuits and stir this into the mixture. Transfer the mixture to the tin. Place some gingerbread men on top of the fudge and add some sprinkles. Leave to set in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, cut into slices and enjoy.

I really tried to get a good photo of this fudge and in the end, I got one I was happy with. I really wasn’t sure whether this flavour would work as I’ve not seen many recipes for it. You can add more Christmas spices if you want, but I was really happy with how the ginger came through in this recipe. This weekend I’m having a uni Christmas, my contribution being chocolate orange brownies, keep an eye out on my Instagram to see how it works out. This is a really short blog this week, but the recipe is so quick and simple it’s the waiting for it to set that’s the hardest part. Have a lovely week.

Lots of love,

Hannah xx
